Looking for a golf partner

I'm an easy-going guy who loves to golf in the summer and curl in the winter, spend time in the great outdoors and doing renovations ( good handyman). I also believe in honesty, open communication, chivalry, respect for your partner. I am retired and would like to spend a few weeks or even the month of March in Florida playing golf and just hanging out where there is no snow and enjoying the warmer weather with my best friend. During the summer, I love the Ottawa area and all the golf courses and the outdoor concerts like the Calabogie Blues & Rib Fest. I also enjoy the getaway for a few days to take in the sites and relax. I have taken up bridge and love it since it keep the gray matter working. My friends describe me as a loyal and a trusting friend who is always available to help out. I always put my family and friends first and go out of my way to help out. I enjoy working in the garden as long as it is for growing flowers since I am not into growing vegetables. I bought a small RV and I'm planning on travelling across Canada and attend a Blues Festival and taking in some golf in every province. I traveled across Newfoundland two summers ago and plan on doing the western provinces next year. Care to join me on this adventure? I am a nice guy not looking for a one night stand. I love the blues and real classic rock like Pink Floyd ,Led Zeppelin & Rolling Stones and other blues influenced rock bands.

I would like to meet someone of my own age that would like rock and blues concerts and going to the movies. I am not looking for anything complicated just a friend for now to share common interests, hopefully it would develop into a meaningful relationship. Ideally she would be a smart retired or semi-retired lady who plays golf and is financially independent like I am.
I'm a bilingual francophone from Ontario and feel more comfortable speaking french with my best friend but it's not a deal breaker.
Let’s start with a smile or a note and see where it takes us. I'm not a complicated guy. I’m laid back and looking for a best friend not a BARBIE.
