In my own words… Picture this: scuba diving off the coast of Aruba, snorkeling with manta rays and sea turtles, windsurfing, and kicking back with a good book on the beach, surrounded by good company. I can never resist the pull of the tropics, which is why I’m Caribbean-bound as often as I can manage. But hey, it's not all sunshine and rum drinks. If we hit it off, remind me to tell you about the time I came face-to-face with a 7-foot sand shark. Spoiler alert: I wasn't quite as calm as the shark was. Monday through Friday, I'm a soldier. It's incredibly rewarding to face challenges head-on, solve problems on the fly, and know that I’ve helped make a real difference. But my favorite part? Knowing that the sacrifices we make—big or small—ultimately help keep families safe, secure, and able to enjoy life without fear. There's something deeply fulfilling about that. When the workday ends, I’m all about balance. I hit the gym for a swim or my weight routine, then might throw a spontaneous BBQ with friends—complete with fresh steaks and my almost-famous potato salad. It's *almost* as good as the wine I pair it with. As for you… I’m drawn to intelligent, creative, and kind women who don’t mind the occasional spontaneous adventure—whether that’s a weekend getaway or a last-minute trip to somewhere far-flung. And if you can whip something up in the kitchen, bonus points. I’m a firm believer that a little experimentation can lead to some great meals (and even better memories).
