Given all of the things that are in our world, many small things give me great pleasure – enjoying a sunrise or sunset, the feel of the warm sun, rainbows, the smell of the clean air right after a nice rain, the sound of waves, the sound of children laughing, the sound of a gentle breeze blowing through the leaves, and the smell, sound, and warmth of a nice fire.
Family is very important to me. My Mom, sisters, kids, and grandkids have a very special place in my life, though no one lives closer than 200 miles and most much farther.
